This is Sandro, one of the main characters of my fantasy story, Dream Oracle. Despite his looks, he's actually a good guy.

Sandro was an adventurer who got killed during one of his quests. He was revived by a shaman who attempted necromancy.

Or so he thinks. During the story, the true origins of how Sandro (in his present undead form) came to be are revealled, and it's part of the main plot. So I won't say anything on the subject except for the few lines above.

Sandro does have the ability of speech. He can also see and hear. What he cannot do is feel (as in touch), since he doesn't have a functional nervous system, nor taste/smell. He doesn't need to eat, so that doesn't affect him much.

The undead adventurer is the first character that Menardi encounters outside of Bellwynn. According to the information she provides to him, Sandro is 157 years-old (counting the time he was dead, which is approx. a century). Sandro joins Menardi's quest for two reasons: She intends to travel back to Bellwynn (where Sandro can locate the necromancer who brought him back to the World) and she needs a guide/bodyguard. Sandro seems to also have ulterior motives, but they remain undisclosed.

Personality: Very serious. Sandro is often considered the "leader" of Menardi's group, as he is well-travalled and knows the Oustide World and its people well. He is very focused, rarely strays from his objective (unless, for example, Menardi tells him otherwise). Being an undead, he is often the one chosen to guard the group when they sleep. Sandro never walks away from a fight, and has some temper issues. Menardi and her group trust him a lot.
